The latest AI Forge Hackathon just concluded and it looks like it was a banger. Brought together 52 people in nine different teams to chill and solve some of the problems Domino’s Pizza was facing. Man, they had all kinds of data to work with, too. A week’s worth of order data, and even a whole stash of pizza pics.
Three teams stepped up big, and while one took the top spot, all of the finalists are trying to build on their momentum. Coming in at third, we got a hot new chatbot that makes ordering and dealing with customer complaints a breeze. Silver went to a special project that uses computer vision and digital scales to make pizza quality pop. And the big winners came up with a system to amp up delivery drivers to help out multiple locations owned by franchisees.
It’s already hooked other companies and AI Forge is planning more of these hackathons for the future. So, if you’re interested in getting down on some AI action, you’re welcome to join the party. Corporates all up in this can hit up the AI Forge Partnership page, while individuals can keep up with what’s happening on AI Forge’s LinkedIn or Twitter. Rock on, and see you next time!
