Dell Technologies has announced new offerings to help customers build generative AI (GenAI) models on-premises, enabling accelerated outcomes and driving increased intelligence. The new Dell Generative AI Solutions expand on previous announcements and provide IT infrastructure, PCs, and professional services to simplify the adoption of GenAI with large language models (LLM). These solutions cater to organizations of all sizes and industries, facilitating secure transformation and improved outcomes.
Dell provides a comprehensive portfolio of tools and services through the Dell Generative AI Solutions, including Precision workstations, PowerEdge servers, PowerScale scale-out storage, ECS enterprise object storage, and a wide range of services. These offerings allow for the delivery of GenAI solutions from desktops to core data centers, edge locations, and public clouds.
The Dell Validated Design for Generative AI, developed in partnership with NVIDIA, is an inferencing blueprint designed to expedite the deployment of a modular, secure, and scalable platform for GenAI in the enterprise. Traditional inferencing approaches have faced challenges in scaling and supporting LLMs for real-time results. This solution enables customers to generate higher quality, faster predictions and decisions using their own data.
Dell Professional Services introduces various capabilities to help customers accelerate GenAI adoption and drive operational efficiency and innovation. These services include creating a GenAI strategy, full-stack implementation based on the Dell Validated Design for GenAI, adoption services for specific use cases, and scaling services for improved operations.
For secure GenAI development, Dell Precision workstations are equipped with up to four NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada Generation GPUs, allowing developers and data scientists to fine-tune models locally before deployment. Dell Optimizer, the built-in AI software, enhances performance across applications, network connectivity, and audio.
The Dell Validated Design for Generative AI with NVIDIA is available now globally, along with select Dell Professional Services. Dell Precision workstations with NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada Generation GPUs will be available globally soon.
