Like, imagine not being able to use ChatGPT to edit an essay or Photoshop for some generative fill without risking a lawsuit. And it’s not just that, it’s like all these AI features from Grammarly to GitHub. It’s like, what the heck, man?
So, you got companies potentially getting sued left and right because of the way their AI tools are being used. And like, if this bill actually passes, it could seriously slow down the development of AI tools in the U.S. Lawmakers need to really think this through, because it could end up causing the same censorship that they’re trying to prevent.
Man, it’s a crazy world out there. But hey, at least someone’s finally making sense about this whole thing.
