Two monumental companies in the tech sector the first one being a big multinational technology company, and the second ANYbotics, a major player in a developing autonomous inspection robots for industrial applications, joined forces to bring forth an era of innovation and peak efficiency in automated industrial inspections.

This collaboration is intended to change the game for companies managing their inspection operations by delivering higher effectiveness and optimized resource utilization in industrial environments.

The rise of autonomous robotics has been a game-changer for performing routine and complex inspections, setting new standards in efficiency. By teaming up with GMV and ANYbotics, the widespread adoption of robotics technology is now more tangible than ever.

They’re making waves by integrating GMV’s cloud-based autonomous robot movement solution uPathWay with ANYmal, ANYbotics’ custom-made quadruped inspection robot. This kind of partnership is taking us a step closer to having outdoor navigation systems and real-time fleet optimization in the palm of our hands.

ANYbotics comes with an unparalleled level of technological sophistication and advanced innovation, especially in creating versatile autonomous robots that can navigate complex industrial environments and perform precise inspections. On the other hand, GMV brings a wealth of experience in control and automation systems, and the ability to blend advanced technologies like artificial intelligence and cybersecurity into their operations.

The benefits of deploying these inspection robots in industrial settings are numerous, including the optimization of processes and resources. The collection of real-time data and advanced analytics allow for informed decision-making, leading to cost-reduction measures, prolonged asset service life, and predictive maintenance scheduling.

One major upside to these inspection robots is their ability to autonomously navigate remote or hazardous areas, reducing the carbon footprint and eliminating the need for human presence. This is a huge step forward from a sustainability standpoint.

Head of industrial sector robotics and automation at GMV, Ángel C. Lázaro, had this to say about their commitment to innovation: “At GMV, we are dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art autonomous robotics solutions adhering to the highest quality standards. We even offer ATEX certified solutions, allowing operation in potentially explosive atmospheres.”

Enzo Wälchli, CCO of ANYbotics, also chimed in with his thoughts: “ANYmal’s integration with GMV’s uPathWay aligns seamlessly with ANYbotics’ strategic vision for AI-driven autonomous mobility. This integration is a game-changer, as it allows ANYmal to efficiently handle complicated outdoor inspection tasks across multiple industries by leveraging the power of a cloud platform to perform multiple tasks. It gives our robots a decisive advantage in dynamic environments.”

Two industry leaders in the technology sector, GMV, and ANYbotics, are moving mountains to drive the transformation in automated industrial inspections, guaranteeing a high level of availability, reliability, and efficiency.

GMV, the technology enterprise group founded in 1984 and operating globally, is a major player in several sectors including space, aeronautics, defense, and cybersecurity, among others. They maintain a strong growth strategy based on continuous innovation, reinvesting 10 percent of its turnover into in-house R&D.

This powerhouse duo of GMV and ANYbotics has created something truly monumental, their partnership guaranteeing a new era in the world of automated industrial inspections. So much possibility and potential to help businesses operate with the efficiency and proficiency they’ve always dreamt of.
