So they got this AI that’s spit out these images, right, and it’s supposed to let people know that they’re AI-generated, so they don’t get all mixed up and end up thinking it’s the real deal, you know? So Microsoft and these other big players are on board with this whole Content Credentials thing, which basically just sticks this hidden label in the media file to say, “Hey, I was made by a machine, not a human.” But, you know, it’s not foolproof. People can still strip it out or crop it, so it’s not like a surefire way to know your stuff is legit. It’s gaining traction, more apps are gonna start using it, so we’ll see how it goes. But at least they’re trying to address this whole AI image generation issue, ’cause that could cause a lot of problems if people start using it to spread fake news or something.
