Hey guys, check this out – artificial intelligence is taking over accounting and it’s looking pretty promising! A survey by Moss Adams, one of the biggest names in accounting, consulting, and wealth management, found that most accountants believe AI will actually enhance their jobs instead of replacing them. They think it’s going to boost productivity and help the industry grow. That’s pretty wild, right?
And get this – 83 percent of accountants surveyed are aware of AI in their workplace, and 79 percent of those say it’s actually beneficial for them. It’s not just something their employers are making them use; a lot of them are adopting the technology on their own. They trust AI to help them out and see it as a way to improve employee satisfaction. But they’re not blind to the risks – most of them have concerns about ethical issues and job replacement.
Despite the reservations, 67 percent of respondents actually think their companies will increase AI investment in 2024 through expanded implementation, partnerships with AI software companies, or further research. So, it looks like AI is here to stay in the accounting sector and is only getting more popular. That’s pretty exciting, isn’t it?
